SHAP works across the housing system to connect organisations, share learning and support the development and scaling of sustainable housing.
Our role is to bring together people, insight and experience from across the sector, creating the conditions for collaboration, shared understanding and practical progress towards net zero. We do this by convening organisations, amplifying sector insight and working alongside partners to shape and deliver solutions.
At the heart of our work are four connected functions: peer networking, shared learning, a trusted sector voice, and solution development and delivery. Together, these reflect how SHAP operates – as a connector, a facilitator and a delivery partner – supporting both sector-wide learning and place-based action.
In practice, SHAP offers two distinct but complementary ways to engage with our work:
• Network services: Free, open-access services that bring the sector together through learning events, research and peer forums, accelerating best-practice sharing and solution development. Find out more here.
• Bespoke consultancy and advisory support: We work directly with organisations and partners, bringing tailored expertise through our associates to the design, delivery and learning of programmes that support sustainable housing and place-based decarbonisation. Find out more here.
