Our Network

Decarbonising the UK’s housing stock is a complex, system-wide challenge. It requires collaboration across the entire housing ecosystem, and that is where SHAP plays a distinctive role.

We work with organisations from across the public, private and third sectors, bringing together people who plan, fund, design, build, manage, research and live in housing. Whether you are delivering social housing, supporting communities affected by fuel poverty, advancing academic research, shaping policy, or developing new energy and retrofit solutions, SHAP provides a space to connect, collaborate and contribute.

Our network spans local and combined authorities, housing associations, developers, community organisations, charities, academic institutions and businesses. Some engage with us through our open network activity; others collaborate with us on specific projects or commission bespoke support. Many do both.

Being part of SHAP’s network means contributing to a collective effort to transform the UK’s housing stock for a net-zero future. It also means access to shared learning, trusted relationships and opportunities to test ideas, build partnerships and influence thinking across the sector.
